The Farm Scout App from CLAAS has available for Android and iOS can help farmers utilise short harvest windows to optimum effect, organise work processes and give all staff access to important information at any time.
The main aim of Farm Scout is to improve on-farm communication. All staff can chat through the app while they are on the move, display distances covered, share points of interest (such as field entrances) or assign and track tasks.
Questions such as “Have you got enough diesel?” or “Where are you?” can be answered by looking at the app. There’s no need to make phone calls, you can carry out parallel planning and the farm can respond quickly and flexibly to changes such as a turn in the weather.
CLAAS involved farmers from the start to of the development to make sure that the app was designed exactly in line with their requirements.
