Fendt returns to LAMMA in January with a host of new machinery and technology for visitors to see for the first time. The new Fendt 700 Vario Gen 7 will be the first machine seen in the UK and features a new 7.5 litre AGCO Power engine with outputs of 203 horsepower for the 720 model and more than 300 horsepower for the top 728 model.
Commenting on the upcoming event, Fendt’s Richard Miller said:
“LAMMA is the premium agricultural show in the UK and the perfect place to launch the new 700 Vario Gen 7. The NEC is a fitting location for the show. It helps to raise the overall profile of the agricultural industry in the UK and enables Fendt to show the best that we have to offer the farming public.”
“With an indoor event, we are able to showcase our products in the best possible way whilst also having meaningful and high value conversations with customers from around the country and further afield. This is not only good value for us but also for our customers,” adds Mr Miller.
Technology will again be a hot topic at LAMMA and the FendtONE onboard/offboard concept will be available for visitors to experience. Data-driven farming is being more widely adopted as a precision led method to improve agricultural efficiencies and FendtONE demonstrates how data collected by machines in the field can help make operational decisions in the farm office.
“Data and machine automation can reduce fuel costs and save valuable time. FendtONE has been designed to offer the data needed to make important decisions that will drive the efficiencies needed in today’s market,” says Mr Miller.
