Impuls and profi developments on Steyr® stand at Eima as brand celebrates 75 years

    • New S-Tech 700 Plus terminal
    • Bigger screen with higher resolution
    • Improved operation and vison
    • AEF ISOBUS certified
    • Technology focus on stand / Historical exhibits and fanshop

Improvements to the Impuls and Profi tractor ranges was at the heart of the STEYR® exhibit at EIMA 2022.

For 2023, STEYR Impuls CVT, Profi S-Control 8 and Profi CVT tractors feature a new S-Tech 700 Plus touchscreen control terminal. With a casing constructed from aluminium for durability, the tablet-type touchscreen is 35% larger than that of the S-Tech it succeeds, at 12.1in across, for easier viewing and simpler operation. The new screen also overs enhanced resolution, illumination and aspect ratio, for sharper, clearer graphics, and improved response to fingertip touch. Anti-reflective and anti-fingerprint screen properties further enhance vision, and the unit can be specified integral to the armrest or mounted on the monitor rail.

Inside the S-Tech 700 Plus, memory storage capacity is boosted from 256MB to 16GB, for faster function operation, particularly in areas such as ISOBUS implement control and multi-task operations. The feed from up to four external cameras can be shown simultaneously to monitor equipment.

There is also a new STEYR 392 receiver available for these tractors, an evolution of the STEYR 372 adding new correction signals. It uses Galileo, Beidou and QZSS satellite constellations, plus GPS and GLONASS, for quick initialization and fast achievement of targeted accuracy, plus low likelihood of signal loss. Available in base, medium and high accuracy levels of 15.0cm, 4.0cm or, when using the RTK+ network, 1.5cm repeatable pass-to-pass year-on-year accuracy, it helps ensure full auto-steering repeatability even in difficult conditions, with minimal likelihood of signal loss in difficult fields.

The Impuls range will be represented by a 6175 Impuls CVT, while the example of the Profi line will be a 6150 Profi CVT fitted with a self-levelling S4225T model from the recently-introduced ‘S’ range of STEYR front loaders, which comprises 20 models across two series. This loader features hydraulic self-levelling, SHOCK Eliminator® and an automatic FITLOCK 2+ System® for easy mounting/dismounting.

In 2022, STEYR celebrates 75 years of tractor production. The STEYR stand at EIMA will mark this in a number of ways, centred around the display of one of the first STEYR 180 tractors from 1947. In addition, a STEYR fanshop will allow visitors to purchase the latest items from the wide range of STEYR scale models, plus STEYR-branded clothing and other items.

“We are really looking forward to seeing existing and potential customers and STEYR fans at EIMA 2022,” says Osvaldo Brigatti, Marketing Manager, STEYR Italy.

“There are lots of new product developments to help our customers meet the challenges of today’s agriculture – and in our 75th anniversary year it is a great time to celebrate the legacy of STEYR.”
