    New kit from Kuhn

Farms of various sizes are looking to profit from adopting precision farming techniques.

Kuhn has introduced a new 8in CCI 800 ISOBUS universal terminal targeted at those for whom the larger 12in CCI 1200 unit is too much of an investment but who still need more screen space and functionality than its smaller entry-level units.  The entry level units start with the 5.6in CCI 50.

The CCI 800 is said to be a more compact unit despite its widescreen format and brighter resolution. It also offers more responsive capacitive touch and is future-ready with hardware that supports the latest CCI.OS development of the ISOBUS standard.

The company claims the ‘widescreen’ format of the CCI 800 display provides the optimal size for focusing on one application. However, it is also reckoned to be unique in its class for the ability to display two additional applications without overlapping the main one. ‘Multi Touch’ functionality works in conjunction with the established CCI.OS operating concept of other Kuhn models to provide smartphone-type operation.
