    Smart approach to slopes

    0
By admin on August 31, 2017 Machinery, Practical precision

Originally launched on the S600 Series combine harvesters as an update for 2017, Active Terrain Adjustment is now part of the new Combine Advisor package. Once the operator has set the parameters of the harvesting operation (ie sample quality, output etc) the machine automatically adjusts to take account of the slopes being worked on.

In practice the fan speed is altered for each crop according to the slope that the machine is working either up or down. This ensures the cleanest possible sample and optimum forward speed to ensure that the combine is working at maximum output, irrespective of conditions.
Active Terrain Adjustment is optionally available for all level land and HillMaster S700 Series combines.
