Topcon Agriculture has launched the new X23, a high-performance 8.4-inch touchscreen console, for entry-level requirements. The console includes functionality upgrade options for expanding operational demands.

The X23 runs Topcon Horizon software, designed to offer a simple, easy-to-use, icon-based and user-definable interface with a full range of guidance patterns. It features a bright, sunlight-readable display, designed for easy setup on market leading vehicle platforms, including tractors, sprayers and harvesters. With the purchase of an unlock code, it becomes ISOBUS capable, which gives it the ability to interface with a wide range of implements.

“The X23 features visual section control capable of up to 10 sections. It can also be upgraded to provide application control and variable rate control – allowing the user to automatically switch sections on and off, to eliminate gaps, overlaps and reduce inputs while protecting crops. Liquid rate control keeps application rates constant even with varied vehicle speeds”, said Michael Stone, Topcon Agriculture vice president of product management.

This new addition extends the offering of Topcon X Family touchscreen consoles and the X23 is an ideal entry-level product for the farmer who needs a complete solution for a variety of applications such as spraying and ISO compatibility.

“One of the main benefits of the X23 is its great versatility. It is based on a pay-per-use model, allowing the farmer to select the software functionalities based on their specific needs, thus maximizing the return on investment and the profitability of this piece of equipment”, said Stone.

The new X23 will be distributed in EMEA, APAC and Latin America territories.
