Maschio Gaspardo launched the Jumbo X at the Cereals Event. The new high-end folding power harrow with ISOBUS.
Jumbo X is the only folding rotary harrow with an ISOBUS communication system and a working width of up to 10 meters, staying within road transport limits thanks to its innovative telescopic lateral body system. It has also earned the Technical Innovation award at EIMA INTERNATIONAL 2024.
Various patented mechanical and electronic innovations ensure maximum robustness and increasingly efficient soil refinement, effectively managing power absorption. A series of sensors distributed across the machine allows the user to monitor key functions continuously.
The project was developed to ensure greater daily productivity without compromising robustness and reliability.
The significant working width helps reduce soil compaction, optimize fuel consumption, and lower emissions, contributing to a more sustainable machine.
Mechanically reliable and safe thanks to its reinforced frame made up of three sections, it incorporates the proven mechanics and electronics of the previous Toro Super Isotronic winner.
The machine can be paired with high-power tractors and is available with a variable working width (telescopic) ranging from 9 to 10 meters in a single machine.
Side transmission is ensured by special triple-extension PTO shafts with cooling for the four gearboxes. The harrow is always floating (both positive and negative) to better follow the ground contours, ensuring consistent working depth.
Through the ISOBUS communication protocol, the operator can monitor all working parameters from the tractor cab.
A “headland manoeuvre” function allows for slight wing lifting via an automatic system, facilitating headland manoeuvres. It is possible to modulate the power developed by the tractor according to the actual power required by the rotary harrow, safeguarding the machine and the environment.
The new “sealed” roller bearing assembly (three times the lifespan of current ones) and the new “Power Hub” bearing assembly for transmission shafts reduce contamination, enhancing the quality and reliability of the transmission system.
The four-wheel trolley ensures safe transport by offloading part of the weight from the lifter.
Thanks to its unique folding mechanism with sliding lateral bodies, the machine stays within road transport limits (height < 4 m, width < 3.2 m).
