    Simple identification of spare parts

    • Downtime due to missing or incorrect spare parts is particularly annoying in short harvest windows. In future, Fendt will offer a way to significantly reduce this downtime
    • With a mobile device, components can be correctly identified by the customer and ordered via the relevant sales partner

Nowadays, spare parts catalogues for agricultural machinery are very extensive. The wide range of available spare parts can negatively affect machine downtimes if the right part is not identified in a timely manner. If, on the other hand, a spare part can be identified easily and, above all, correctly, this simplifies and speeds up the ordering process and at the same time prevents incorrect orders.

With the solution for mobile devices, customers can scan defective components on their machine using the photo function. The application recognises the shape of the part and suggests suitable spare parts based on the available data and the stored chassis number (VIN). This information reduces the risk of incorrect orders.

Customers select the spare part they need and order it directly from their Fendt sales partner. The use of the mobile application reduces downtime, as the time-consuming search in the spare parts catalogue is no longer necessary, just like the trip to the sales partner.
