QR code – the central source of information

    • With the QR code HORSCH presents an innovative solution with regard to the individual provision of information for farmers
    • Since summer 2024, every HORSCH machine that is produced in Germany has been provided with a QR code that is made of solid sheet steel, lasered and riveted to the machine frame

The QR code is the digital business card of the machine and by simply scanning it allows for accessing machine-specific information and applications. As the provision is linked to the serial number, the users only receive relevant and customised information that can be accessed any time. The clearly arranged and user-friendly display saves valuable time and prevents an information flood which might easily occur when comprehensive technical details are concerned.

The applications that are relevant for the use and the type of machine are provided at a glance in a compact way. With machines that are equipped with HorschConnect, you can immediately access Telematics. The relevant documents or brochures as well as the individual machine configuration also are immediately available.

Positioned at an optimum spot at the machine, the QR code can be scanned easily and still is protected from wear. With certain models, the code can even be scanned comfortably from the cabin.

In the future, too, the focus will be on further individualising information according to requirements. For the coming years, the plan is to extend the QR code to machines from production sites outside Germany.

With this innovation, HORSCH sets new standards in the sector of digital support for farmers and provides them with a central and individualised source that makes the daily routine more efficient.
