The DLG (German Agricultural Society) has announced the winners of its 2025 “Systems & Components Trophy – Engineers’ Choice”, recognizing innovations in the agricultural machinery supplier sector. The awards ceremony will take place on November 9, 2025, at 5 p.m., on the Systems & Components Expert Stage in Hall 17, Booth H02, at Agritechnica 2025.

The trophy honors components or systems featuring novel or significantly improved concepts that contribute to the development of agricultural and off-highway machinery. This year, 41 submissions were evaluated by a panel led by Prof. Till Meinel, Vice President of DLG and Chair of the DLG Test Center for Technology and Farm Inputs at TH Köln.

One of the three winners is the ReBeL Cobot from igus GmbH (Hall 16, Stand E11). The lightweight, 8 kg articulated arm robot is designed to automate high-precision and repetitive tasks such as weeding, fruit harvesting, or sowing, reducing labor requirements while enabling more frequent work cycles. Equipped with sensors, grippers, and user-friendly programming software, it allows farmers and indoor growers to test applications before purchase.
