SoilXplorer, an AGXTENDTM series product has won a Kielce Trade Fair Gold Medal at the Kielce fair in Poland.  Features that caught the judges eye were its  functional properties, performance parameters, ergonomics and safety, efficiency of use, energy consumption, quality and design aesthetics and impact on the natural environment.

SoilXplorer is a non-contact sensor that uses electromagnetic signals to measure soil conductivity at four depths: 0-25 cm, 15-60 cm, 55-95 cm and 85-115 cm.

It can be fitted on the front three-point linkage of the tractor to create field maps, record soil cohesion and prepare soil and moisture levels maps, and also to provide information on the occurrence of soil compaction zones and their depth, which allows cultivation work at different depths of soil with the use of appropriate tools.

Full depth operation only in those places of the field, where it is necessary, saves fuel and reduces the consumption of metal parts, which translates into significant savings.

The organizer of the competition is Targi Kielce S.A. and the Institute of Technology and Life Sciences in Warsaw.
