230 hp Autonomous AgBot Revealed for Soil-Friendly Farming

AgXeed revealed its new AgBot T2 7 Series, a 230 hp autonomous machine designed to deliver full tractor performance with minimal soil impact. Weighing just over 8 tonnes and powered by a diesel-electric drivetrain, the tracked AgBot combines stability, traction, and careful soil management for large-scale and specialty crop operations.

Fully autonomous and integrated with AgXeed’s TraxWise platform, the T2 7 SERIES allows farmers to plan routes, monitor implements in real time, and automatically document tasks, improving efficiency while preserving soil health. Its tracked design keeps ground pressure below 30 kPa, and adjustable track widths from 1.5 to 3.2 m offers flexibility across crops and field conditions.

The machine delivers 230 hp, a 9-tonne rear lift, and up to 170 l/min hydraulic capacity, supported by safety features including geo-fencing, obstacle detection, and emergency protocols for secure independent operation. A 1,000 rpm front PTO adds versatility for implements.

“The T2 7 SERIES gives farmers freedom from limits, complexity, and compromise,” said Joris Hiddema, CEO of AgXeed. “It combines power, precision, and soil care in a single intelligent system.”

Designed for deep tillage, heavy cultivation, large-area seeding, and slope work, the AgBot shows that fully autonomous machinery can deliver both high performance and sustainable farming outcomes.
