AGXTEND, CNH Industrial N.V. an accelerator for tech startups, has announced that it has acquired a minority stake in Geoprospectors GmbH, a leading supplier of soil sensing equipment for precision agriculture and subsurface engineering.
By taking a stake in Geoprospectors, CNH Industrial is solidifying its commitment to the AGXTEND platform and distribution network through strengthening its presence in soil sensing technology and increasing synergies to launch new disruptive products.
Geoprospectors’ solutions will enable AGXTEND to offer a range of geophysical technologies and services to obtain valuable data regarding soil resources. The data from all products can either be analyzed through FMIS (Farm Management Information Systems) solutions or it can automate processes in real time.
With this acquisition AGXTEND continues its journey to redefine industry standards in precision agriculture.
