DLG’s Agrifuture Concept awards spotlight technologies expected to influence agricultural practices in the next five to ten years. Winners will be recognised at Agritechnica on 12 November.

SLS Systementwicklungen GmbH’s NextDrip system reimagines drip irrigation by relocating assembly from the field to the factory. Prefabricated, site-specific drip lines are installed with minimal manual labour, incorporating accessories such as site-specific drippers and markers. The approach allows precise, mechanised installation and retrieval, saving time and reducing errors in intensive agriculture while providing flexibility for complex field layouts.
