- Latest Steiger/Quadtrac models with AFS Connect™ and enhanced rear hitch
- Preview of new Puma 260 CVXDrive flagship
- Added value telemetry services for AFS Connect tractors and combines
Case IH will debut multiple new machines on Stand D072, Hall 6, at SIMA 2022 (Paris Nord-Villepinte, November 6-10) – and plans to also show a Case IH Sugarcane Harvester, illustrating the brand’s global harvesting expertise.
The new Puma 260 CVXDrive will be previewed. Key features include a larger cab – the quietest Puma cab ever – with new operating armrest including configurable controls and AFS Pro 1200 touchscreen terminal, through which operators can not only make settings and automatically record operating data, but also – via AFS Connect™ telematics – ensure instant two-way data transfer between tractor and the MyCaseIH online portal, plus remote machine monitoring/support and more.
Visitors will also be able to learn more about Safeguard Connect, a new combination of added-value telemetry services grouped to encompass all aspects of service support for Case IH Axial-Flow® 250 series combines and larger tractor models. Safeguard Connect, which complements AFS Connect telemetry, includes extended Safeguard warranty (according to market), pre-season inspection, dealer remote support, Max Service 24/7 back-up, AFS Connect subscription and full operator training.
The latest Steiger wheeled and Quadtrac tracked tractors that top the Case IH range feature enhanced specification and performance. A new armrest includes configurable controls and the AFS Pro 1200 touchscreen monitor with AFS Connect remote data transfer and monitoring. A new heavy-duty three-point hitch increases lift capacity by up to 5%, and there is a factory Category 5 drawbar with Category 4 adapter, plus optional new six-spool combination coupler with three 0.5in and three 0.75in fittings.
Developments in the 100-140hp Vestrum CVXDrive tractor range include CVX transmission refinements. Operators can adjust, save and recall customisable settings according to preference/task, while drive pedal and Multicontroller response has been enhanced. Cab access has been improved, as has interior fit and finish, and a new 12in AFS Connect 700 Plus touchscreen terminal introduced, simplifying task management and allowing multiple camera monitoring.
“But we will have lots to entertain visitors too, including a live screening of the MotoGP race in Valencia on Sunday 6th November – and a Case IH-sponsored MotoGP Aprilia motorcycle on display. There will also be a visitors’ bar at the stand, so we are looking forward to providing refreshments for our guests while we discuss with them our new developments.”
