    Trelleborg joins expert panel at Agritech Supplier Summit 2021

    • Trelleborg Wheel Systems joined a panel of other industry experts at the Agritech Supplier Summit in Augsburg, Germany

    The Summit’s theme was, “Maximizing Local and Global Supply Chain Efficiency with Digital Transformation”. Paolo Pompei, President of Trelleborg Wheel Systems, shared insights on the company’s latest innovative practices implemented across its own supply chain worldwide.

    The Agritech Supplier Summit is an exclusive annual gathering of companies where executives, procurement managers and engineers from a number of industries share knowledge over two-plus days of presentations, workshops and panel discussions, geared toward exchanging best practices and exploring digital solutions to benefit the industry as a whole. The summit will be held both in person and online, reaching a wide audience of all those working to innovate across the industry.

    For the President of Trelleborg Wheel Systems, Paolo Pompei, innovation and sustainability across the supply chain go hand in hand: “Maximizing local and global supply chain efficiency means minimizing our environmental footprint by making sustainable changes along our entire supply chain, ushering in processes that positively impact the planet.” Sustainable business practices are the company’s top priority, with an aim to cut carbon emissions in half in the near term and achieve carbon neutrality in operations by 2035.
