JCB’s new Fastrac 6000 Series wins the top ‘Machine of the Year’ award at the UK’s leading agricultural machinery show, standing out for its cutting-edge technology and automation.

The 284hp Fastrac 6260 and 335hp 6300 impress judges with features that push the boundaries of tractor design and efficiency. Key highlights include adaptive suspension on both axles, delivering exceptional ride comfort and stability at speeds of up to 66kph, and multi-mode four-wheel steering for precise manoeuvring in both field and road conditions.

JCB has also integrated advanced guidance and automation systems. Twin satellite receivers provide accurate low-speed guidance and rapid acquisition of pre-set waylines, even over undulating terrain. Operators can choose automated headland turns and use the Twin Steer system to independently control the front and rear axles for ultra-precise navigation, reducing operator fatigue and increasing field efficiency.

The 6000 Series features a new central tyre inflation system, operable via the iCON digital touchscreen display. This allows drivers to optimise tyre pressures for road travel or fieldwork within minutes, improving traction, reducing soil compaction, and enhancing fuel efficiency.

Braking and safety systems are also class-leading. Large air-operated external disc brakes with ABS prevent wheel lock-up under heavy braking, while advanced chassis design and suspension technology maintain stability during transport of heavy implements.

John Smith, Managing Director of JCB Agriculture, says: “The Fastrac 6000 Series represents a step-change in technology for high-power tractors. From intelligent suspension and guidance to automated headland turns and digital control, these machines combine productivity, precision, and operator comfort in a way that sets new standards for the industry.”

The award-winning Fastrac 6000 Series demonstrates how innovation and automation are reshaping modern agriculture, enabling farmers and contractors to work faster, safer, and more efficiently across diverse terrain and challenging conditions.
